How to measure your body correctly.

You can record these measurements in inches or centimetres.

Make sure that the tape is not too tight. It also has to be straight even at the back. Make sure not to hold your breath whilst measuring.

Neck

Measure the circumference in the middle of your neck and record the reading.

Arm

Measure the circumference in the middle of your bicep (upper arm between the shoulder and the elbow) and record the reading.

Chest

Measure the circumference in the middle of your chest (across the nipple) and record the reading.

Lower Chest

Measure the circumference of your lower chest (for women this is the bra line) and record the reading.

Waist

Measure the circumference of your waist by wrapping the tape around the area between your rib cage and belly button and record the reading.

Navel

Measure the circumference of your navel (this will be at the level of your belly button) and record the reading.

Hips

Measure the circumference of the hip by wrapping the tape around the hip bones and record the reading.

Thigh 

Measure the circumference at the top of the thigh and record the reading.

Measure the circumference of the glutes by wrapping the tape around the bum cheeks and record the reading.
